About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Social Media: You will independently create creative content for our social media channels (focus on LinkedIn/YouTube) and use modern design and image-editing tools.
Website: You will support the maintenance and development of content in a content management system for the Heraeus Group website.
Project collaboration: From the initial idea to the finished campaign, you will actively contribute to projects in the area of external digital communication.
Analysis and optimization: You will assist in analyzing our communication activities and deriving recommendations for action.
Personal responsibility: You will take ownership of your own projects and areas of responsibility, where you can apply and expand your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You are currently enrolled in a degree program in media or social sciences, business administration with a focus on marketing, or a comparable course of study.
Ideally, you have already gained some experience in corporate communications.
You have a strong affinity for social media and online tools and enjoy testing new platforms and features.
You have a good sense for language, content, target audiences and current social media trends.
You have very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
You are proficient in common MS Office applications.
You work creatively, carefully and precisely and approach tasks in a goal-oriented manner.
You have a quick grasp, are reliable and committed, and enjoy working in a team.
You are available for 20 hours per week and are happy to increase your working hours during semester breaks if needed.
