About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the VWAZ JV project on behalf of Allianz Direct, ensuring effective cost and benefit tracking in alignment with Allianz Group objectives.
Establish and track financial KPIs and OKRs at both project and company levels, translating them into actionable strategic objectives.
Review business cases across all countries for financial viability and return on investment for Allianz Direct, the VWAZ JV and the Allianz Group.
Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting tools to provide stakeholders with regular updates on portfolio performance and strategic alignment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that optimize resource allocation and project delivery.
Facilitate workshops and meetings with key stakeholders to align project objectives with business strategies and ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Ensure project principles are clearly communicated to all stakeholders and calibrated as the project evolves.
Ensure adequate control and oversight in the areas of process standardisation and effective use of platform features.
Own the business case end to end, including an early-warning mechanism for deviations from plan.
Manage a complex, multi-layer governance with stakeholders across global and local entities of the Allianz, Allianz Direct and VWFS Groups, ensuring effective escalation in line with the governance framework.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial steering of projects, business case analysis, or related areas.
Proven experience in managing project portfolios within a complex organizational environment, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
Experience in integrating AI into portfolio governance and delivery frameworks across project management.
Proficiency in English is essential; professional proficiency in German is required.
