About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the development of the three‑year marketing plan aligned with the House's brand codes
  • Create marketing concepts consistent with Dries Van Noten's brand identity
  • Draft, develop and follow up on formula, packaging and shade briefs
  • Manage product development from concept creation through launch and post‑launch monitoring
  • Define activation plans to support markets for launches (360°: Digital, Retail, Communications, Training) in collaboration with subject‑matter experts
  • Provide creative briefs to agencies for packaging, design and mockups
  • Coordinate with internal teams: digital, communications, retail, studio, purchasing and engineering
  • Optimize the existing mix (product range, assortment rationalization, price positioning, etc.)
  • Implement the annual marketing plan in line with brand strategy
  • Coordinate launches with key markets and international operational marketing
  • Develop tools to implement the strategy across our markets
  • Present the marketing plan to top management and subsidiaries
  • Coordinate with Fashion teams and external stakeholders (agencies)
  • Analyze project profitability and monitor line budgets
  • Conduct competitive monitoring and trend analysis, benchmark competitors and perform ad‑hoc research

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience (excluding internships/apprenticeships) in makeup product development
  • Master's degree (Bac +5) or equivalent from a Business School, Design School, Art School or University
  • French and English required
  • Genuine sensitivity, passion and curiosity for the makeup universe; up to date with market trends
  • Genuine appreciation for niche brand universes
  • Knowledge of makeup development processes involving external and internal stakeholders
  • Creative, innovative and proactive profile
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Team player
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
