About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain backend services in Scala using Play Framework to support automation of implementation, billing, and provisioning
- Optimize MySQL queries and ensure efficient data access across system components
- Support automation of service workflows, including bug fixes and client‑funded requests
- Build and maintain AWS‑based components to ensure system reliability and scalability
- Contribute to CI/CD processes, perform code reviews, and follow Git‑based development practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge of Scala (collections, Futures, immutability, pattern matching, etc)
- Good understanding of SQL optimization, indexes, and query profiling
- Experience with AWS services
- Understanding of CI/CD and source control (Git, PR flow)
