About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop technical analyses in alignment with Group Best Practices, following the whole tariff process: Data Preparation
Overall Rate Requirement analysis
Technical analysis with advanced statistical techniques for risk and behavioral models
What-if analysis to evaluate the impact of different tariffs on portfolio performance
Definition of technical requirement for IT implementation regarding tariff and database structure
Assess on a regular basis the quality and correctness of the models and analyses
Develop Reports based on forward-looking KPIs
Participate in working groups for the definition of the concept of New Products
Interface with other corporate functions on business or regulatory issues
Collaborate to achieve required standard of Technical Excellence Agenda

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or equivalent field
Experience (e.g. 3-5 years or more) in Insurance Companies/Consultancy Firms with strong focus on P&C Pricing projects in Non motor
Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI would be a plus
Knowledge of GLMs; minimum usage of Machine learning techniques would be a plus
Expertise in coding with Python or R; SQL or SAS
Knowledge of the Tower Watson Suite (Emblem, Radar); Classifier would be a plus
Ability to engage and interact with different stakeholders
Proactive in constantly improving tools and approaches to be market-leading
Seeking continuous knowledge improvement regarding business and technical issues, actively proposing ideas to management
Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
