Senior Retail Designer – Travel Retail Americas

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Retail Design & VM Director in translating strategic objectives into actionable design and operational plans
- Own and drive the most complex and strategic retail design projects from concept to installation
- Regularly follow up projects with the HQ Brands Retail Permanent Image team (special requests and adaptations) and retailers.
- Handle technical challenges (internally with the HQ team and externally with the supplier) and implementation logistics (deliveries, orders).
- Act as a key escalation point for operational and financial challenges, ensuring effective resolution while addressing root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to Retail Designers and Executives, supporting their development in project management, prioritization, and execution discipline
- Lead the adaptation of global retail design concepts to regional environments, ensuring premium execution and alignment with brand identity
- Follow up budget.
- Follow up the execution of projects and ensure high quality installation.
- Handle Maintenance of existing points of sales.
- Homologate new suppliers.
- Supporting the execution of visual merchandising strategy in the point of sales.
- Develop planograms & visual calendar, adapt brand guidelines and working closely with the Field Supervisor.
- Drive operational excellence and reinforce best practices in project tracking tools (e.g., Asana), timelines management, Budget tracking, Purchase Order Management and Invoice Follow-up.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-10 years of experience including retail projects / project management preferably for the luxury and beauty industry.
- Project management / Negotiation skills and related software knowledge (Excel, PPT) are a plus.
- Aesthetic sensibility and related design software knowledge (Autocad, Adobe Creative suite, Sketchup).
- Degree in Architecture or Industrial Design are required.
- Proficient in English & Spanish.
