About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will contribute to the development and operationalization of the company’s Responsible AI strategy, policies, and governance frameworks, ensuring the trustworthy, ethical, and compliant deployment of AI.
  • You will support alignment with regional regulatory requirements and market-specific expectations across relevant jurisdictions.
  • You will help establish and maintain structures for AI risk classification, decision-making, and review processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as the EU AI Act and relevant industry standards.
  • You will contribute to preparing for and conducting discussions on AI-related risk appetite to support alignment on risk limits and trade-offs between innovation, speed, and compliance.
  • As part of the AI office, you will work closely with data scientists, engineers, product, legal, compliance, and risk functions, fostering alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You will support cross-functional collaboration and help ensure that Responsible AI principles are applied consistently across all AI initiatives.
  • By translating Responsible AI principles into actionable steps, you will support the development of tools, playbooks, and minimum-compliance packages that enable a scalable "shift-left" approach, integrating Responsible AI early into development processes.
  • You will help design and implement standardized AI risk and impact assessment frameworks and support the integration of Responsible AI across the full AI lifecycle—from intake and use-case design through development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • By proactively identifying and managing ethical, societal, and operational AI risks, you will help strengthen organizational resilience and trust in AI systems.
  • You will support the implementation of controls and monitoring mechanisms to address fairness, transparency, robustness, and bias, and contribute to internal and external audits and reviews.
  • You will support the development and delivery of training and awareness initiatives to build organizational capabilities around Responsible AI.
  • By monitoring regulatory and industry developments, you will help translate these into internal practices.
  • You may also support participation in external forums and working groups.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant academic degree in technology, data science, ethics, public policy, business, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in AI, data, risk, governance, or adjacent areas (experience in consulting, strategy, or transformation roles is an advantage)
  • Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and the AI lifecycle (hands-on development experience not required)
  • Initial experience in Responsible AI, AI governance, risk management, or digital ethics
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act and intersections with the GDPR is advantageous
  • Ability to translate abstract principles into structured, actionable processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on delivery
  • Interest in ethical technology, Responsible AI, and trustworthy innovation
