About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and conduct activities concerned with the quality assurance of all products and processes at HEPN
Facilitate the investigation and response to customer complaints and internal issues
Determine and eliminate root causes and diminish defect occurrences or quality incidents in the process
Support the Quality Manager with internal and external audits, customer surveys, and respond or resolve corrective and/or preventive actions and verifications
Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities
Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures
Perform capability studies and statistical analysis using methods such as FMEA, GR&R, SPC, and SQC
Organize data from various sources into Excel for statistical analysis
Apply statistical analysis to investigate historical trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably chemical production industry
Use of statistical software such as Minitab or JMP is preferred
Proficiency in Statistical Process & Quality Control (SPC & SQC), MSA, Control Plans, and FMEA is required
Experience working within an ISO-regulated environment is preferred
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is preferred.
