Operations Tech I – Housings – 1st Shift
Minor Hotels Europe and AmericasOperations Tech I supporting production and process improvement at Heraeus. Involves technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining production tooling.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports production in all the competencies set forth by the supervisor
- Works with Engineering on process improvement
- Works with manufacturing engineering and/or tool room to help maintain production tooling
- Ensures that all setup data is adhered to during the Standard production phases of a product
- Completes all production related paperwork, ie: batch assignment, SAP, headers, etc.
- Helps keep clean and maintain accurate manufacturing tool cribs
- Acts as the first point of contact for production to help with technical support, troubleshooting, problem solving and repair activities for production equipment
- Acts as technical leader in areas of expertise and uses knowledge to assist others when needed across departments
- Assists training operators on new and revised processes where needed
- Provides feedback for improvements for quality and process improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- 2-year degree or related vocational education a plus
- 1+ years Heraeus Medical experience or 3+ years equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes and principles
- Knowledge of basic inspection tools, machining skills, SPC, intermediate computer aptitude
- Must be proficient in reading and writing English; Technical writing documentation ability required
