About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You hold technical responsibility for the production equipment and ensure high equipment availability while complying with all legal requirements and internal standards.
You analyze equipment malfunctions, resolve them, and document corrective actions sustainably, with a strong emphasis on systematic fault analysis.
You plan optimization projects to increase the efficiency and reliability of the equipment and carry them out independently or as part of a defined project team.
You evaluate defined KPIs for performance monitoring and ensure compliance; additionally, you define and maintain process windows, target parameters, and internal reference values.
You coordinate and supervise external contractors during ongoing operations and work closely with adjacent departments, particularly EHS, production, and maintenance.
You participate in on-call duty to ensure continuous equipment operation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A completed Master’s or Diplom degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable discipline
Several years of experience in industrial process or equipment engineering; experience in cleanroom environments is desirable
Proven experience in optimizing process equipment and systems
Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D or comparable CAD systems; experience with SAP (PM/MM) is desirable
Strong analytical skills, particularly when diagnosing complex technical faults
High degree of self-organization, structured working methods, and a strong sense of responsibility
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with internal and external partners
Analytical mindset and confident handling of technical data and evaluation methods
