Technical Analyst
Minor Hotels Europe and AmericasIT/OT Convergence Engineer responsible for engineering, configuring, and supporting operational technology environments. Hands-on role fostering IT/OT convergence technologies at Capgemini, a global business transformation partner.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute hands‑on engineering activities across OT, SCADA, and industrial network environments, including configuration, testing, commissioning, and fault resolution
- Support the deployment and integration of IT/OT connectivity solutions
- Assist with the implementation and validation of modern OT data exchange mechanisms
- Participate in site and enterprise engineering activities, working safely within live operational environments
- Contribute to the development and use of standard engineering designs, build guides, configuration templates, and reusable patterns
- Produce and maintain accurate as‑built documentation, network diagrams, and configuration records
- Actively build capability in emerging IT/OT convergence technologies through delivery participation and structured learning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands‑on experience working with OT systems such as SCADA platforms, PLCs, RTUs, and associated field infrastructure
- A solid grounding in industrial networking and cyber‑secure operations
- Comfortable diagnosing and resolving issues in live operational environments
- Good awareness of modern IT/OT convergence technologies
- Experience in regulated or asset‑intensive sectors such as water or utilities will be an advantage.
