Key responsibilities & impact

Provide reliable, high-quality financial information to management, investors, analysts, regulators, and the general public through internal and external reporting
Part of the Accounting & Reporting Team for Allianz Direct
Responsible for all internal and external accounting, closing, and reporting requirements
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Providing accounting policy guidance and analyzing financial data
Preparing the presentation of results and reporting financial information to various internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree – preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics
Excellent technical skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - VBA/Macro knowledge is a plus
Fluent written and conversational skills in German and English
Multiple years of professional experience (5+) in the fields of accounting, finance or financial reporting area, ideally in the (re)insurance sector
Alternatively, you have +5 years of experience as an auditor in financial services
Profound HGB, IFRS and Solvency II accounting skills
Solid experience with accounting systems, ideally SAP
Proactive approach and hands-on mentality
Open-minded and motivated team player, highly organized and very well structured
High resilience and the talent to keep a cool head even in turbulent situations, high result orientation
Highly organized and very well structured, excellent analytical skills
You have a high affinity for insurance and financial market topics and enjoy driving digitalization
