About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate, support, and enhance a cloud-based platform running on Microsoft Azure
Manage and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, focusing on stability, performance, and scalability
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application issues in production
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and support teams using Agile / SCRUM methodologies
Support the cloud delivery of .NET desktop applications in virtualized environments
Contribute to operational excellence through automation, documentation, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Commercial experience in Cloud Operations or Cloud Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience with or understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) (preferred)
Familiarity with .NET desktop application development and desktop application behavior in hosted/cloud environments
Experience working in Agile / SCRUM teams
Strong problem-solving skills and an operational mindset
