About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle, extract, process and standardize actuarial databases, ensuring the quality, consistency and traceability of the information used in technical reserve analyses
- Support the consolidation of actuarial results, KPIs and management and regulatory reports, contributing to decision-making and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform initial analyses of technical provisions, actively participating in monthly and quarterly reserve closing processes
- Execute consistency tests, validation and reconciliation of technical provisions, using tools such as Excel, SAS and SUSEP regulatory databases
- Contribute to actuarial studies and analyses of claims behavior, risks and exposures, supporting technical and strategic decisions of the Reserving area
- Support internal and external audits by assisting in the collection, organization and validation of evidence under the guidance of senior actuaries
- Provide technical support to Allianz Group requests, collaborating with local and global teams on standardized actuarial routines
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, actuarial standards, regulatory guidelines and good governance and compliance practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for actuarial processes, including automation of routines, data quality enhancement and responsible use of technology and AI
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science
- 0 to 2 years of prior actuarial experience, preferably in technical reserves, actuarial controls or related areas within insurers (Junior level)
- Intermediate Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI to support analyses and reporting
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming or data analysis languages such as SAS, SQL and/or Python
- Interest and familiarity with data analysis, information quality and the responsible use of technology and AI
