About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather and synthesize industry data, evaluate macro and sector trends, and maintain proprietary research databases
Contribute to the development and implementation of Allianz’s global investment strategy in the private markets space
Conduct ad-hoc research on emerging themes (e.g., secondary markets, data centers etc.)
Update and improve quantitative/valuation models
Support internal strategy and financial market communications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or master’s student in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business or a quantitative discipline, with a strong academic record
Previous internship or project work in investment management or related financial sector is a plus
Strong interest in financial markets (esp. private markets) and macroeconomics
Familiarity with portfolio-construction and asset-allocation concepts
Advanced Excel / PowerPoint skills, experience with LSEG Workspace/Datastream, Bloomberg Terminal, Python, EViews is a plus
Excellent written and spoken English (additional languages are a plus)
Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to turn large data sets into clear insights
High level of professionalism, proactiveness and collaborative spirit
