About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain ETL pipelines in a Big Data environment, ensuring the continuity of the data infrastructure.
Develop and update reports to analyze performance metrics of the Motor LoB
Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of data used across the unit

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Physics or similar
Experience (e.g. 1-2 years) in Data Analytics/Reporting or Data Engineer/Scientist roles
Proven experience with SQL, Python and its libraries for Big Data processing, including PySpark, Pandas and NumPy
Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or similar)
Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics would be a plus
Knowledge of orchestration tools (Apache Airflow or similar) would be a plus
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel and Power Point
Proactive and innovative attitude in constantly improving tools and approaches to be market leading
Great curiosity in order to create an overall vision
Good knowledge of English and Italian language (written and spoken).
