About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Delivering, administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the shared cloud environment
Building, configuring, tuning, and implementing automation for cloud lifecycle and operational improvement
Providing support for the web interface used by customers to access their cloud environment
Establishing and maintaining proficiency in emerging technologies through self-study and on-the-job training
Escalating issues and defects as necessary, and working directly with escalation teams until incidents are fully resolved
Providing routine communication with customers regarding progress, status, and root cause analysis
Supporting customers with DNS, IP, and firewall issues related to cloud environments
Working directly with architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins , Git , or Terraform for infrastructure as code ( IaC )
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python , Bash , or PowerShell for automation tasks
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services ( AWS ), and Google Cloud Platform ( GCP )
Strong systems knowledge ( Linux , Unix ) and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and the OSI model
