About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess the financial viability of new strategic projects by preparing business case analyses, return estimates, operating costs (OPEX), capital expenditures (CAPEX) and financial benefits to support executive decision-making.
  • Monitor and control project finances, tracking variances between actuals and plan, ensuring efficient use of resources and accurate measurement of expected benefits throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare financial management reports and executive presentations, translating complex financial data into clear insights for stakeholders with a focus on performance, risks and opportunities.
  • Act as the finance partner for project teams, providing consultative support and guidance on financial impacts, investment prioritization and resource optimization.
  • Conduct post-implementation project reviews, analyzing financial results, capturing lessons learned and proposing improvements for future projects.
  • Participate in transformation and continuous improvement initiatives beyond business-as-usual, supporting strategic, digital or regulatory projects that are relevant to the evolution of the insurance business.
  • Incorporate digitalization and data-driven practices, leveraging analytical tools, report automation and data-oriented financial KPIs to improve project portfolio management.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in corporate finance, controllership, FP&A or financial project management, including investment evaluation, economic feasibility analysis and performance tracking.
  • Experience working in financial services, insurance, consulting or other complex corporate environments.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting, including cost analysis, profitability and financial metrics.
  • Experience building and monitoring business cases.
  • Proficiency with digital and analytical tools such as advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
  • Experience with report automation or using data to support decision-making.
