About the role

Play a central role in the accounting and financial reporting of international direct and indirect investments across alternative asset classes, including infrastructure, renewable energy, and private equity
Prepare IFRS and HGB accounting assessments for new transactions
Provide technical accounting guidance to investment teams and internal/external accounting service providers
Ensure high-quality reporting and closing processes for investment vehicles
Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for portfolio companies
Manage audit activities and work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors

University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Strong expertise in international accounting standards (IFRS) and solid knowledge of HGB
Several years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, investment accounting, or at a Big Four firm
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex issues
High level of initiative, flexibility, and resilience
Experience applying generative AI tools such as Copilot to automate processes
Excellent communication skills, high motivation, strong team orientation, and willingness to take ownership
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP HANA and ECCS is an advantage
Very good German and English language skills.
