About the role
- Play a central role in the accounting and financial reporting of international direct and indirect investments across alternative asset classes, including infrastructure, renewable energy, and private equity
- Prepare IFRS and HGB accounting assessments for new transactions
- Provide technical accounting guidance to investment teams and internal/external accounting service providers
- Ensure high-quality reporting and closing processes for investment vehicles
- Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for portfolio companies
- Manage audit activities and work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong expertise in international accounting standards (IFRS) and solid knowledge of HGB
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, investment accounting, or at a Big Four firm
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex issues
- High level of initiative, flexibility, and resilience
- Experience applying generative AI tools such as Copilot to automate processes
- Excellent communication skills, high motivation, strong team orientation, and willingness to take ownership
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP HANA and ECCS is an advantage
- Very good German and English language skills.
