About the role
- Work on data migration analysis, create migration strategy and plan.
- Collaborate with Data owners, Business Owners, Architects, Application teams, and Integration lead to understand requirements.
- Manage data migration delivery from source and target side.
- Articulate problem statements and propose effective solutions and recommendations for management decisions.
- Provide progress updates and highlight risks and issues to key stakeholders and project managers.
- Manage the scope and schedule of the data migration project.
Requirements
- Degree holder and above in Computer Science/Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience as a Technical lead or Data Migration Lead.
- Good communication and written skills.
- Experience with large scale data migration of policy admin system projects in Insurance domain.
- Knowledge on Life Insurance areas such as new business, policy servicing, Distribution management, Account Management, Claim management, and customer experience.
- Understanding of key peripherals connected to the policy admin system and data dependencies.
- Experience working on regional delivery models and designing reusable, scalable and efficient solutions.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and SQL Queries.
