About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure payroll processing and deductions for Employees, Pre-retirees and Retirees.
  • Ensure management of working hours and control of attendance and absenteeism.
  • Ensure the updating and maintenance of employee records relevant to the employment relationship.
  • Prepare mandatory reports of payments and deductions and ensure their submission to the appropriate official entities.
  • Prepare legally required reports related to HR management and labor relations.
  • Ensure HR accounting, cost control and preparation of the HR budget.
  • Manage employment contracts, onboarding and terminations.
  • Prepare management reports and HR KPIs.
  • Contribute to the proper maintenance of the Integrated Human Resources Management System.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or Master’s in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4–5 years’ professional experience in payroll.
  • Good knowledge of Portuguese labor, tax and social security legislation.
  • Solid experience with SAP ERP HCM (payroll and time management) and SAP SuccessFactors (Human Experience Management).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel.
  • Fluent in Portuguese.
  • Intermediate knowledge of English and Spanish.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT.
  • Customer and market focus, entrepreneurial mindset and confidence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, planning and organizational abilities, team spirit, results orientation, and adaptability to change.
