About the role

  • Work with portfolio managers and analysts in the region to incubate, design and manage research studies of strategic importance to our portfolios
  • Manage a network of external reporters to ensure the smooth execution of the research studies
  • Analyze, interpret and communicate Grassroots research study findings to investment professionals
  • Communicate proactively with investors globally on the findings of the studies and contribute to client communications
  • Manage multiple research projects on deadline
  • Active participation in investment meetings

Requirements

  • University bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably related to finance or statistics
  • 2+ years of professional work experience related to investment research, market research or investment data analysis
  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations to both internal management and external clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive mindset
  • English and Chinese Mandarin an advantage
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with both fixed and changing deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for communicating with internal/external colleagues
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Knowledge and experience in data analysis and coding
  • CFA levels passed, aspiration
  • Investment knowledge and understanding of economics and financial markets
