About the role
- Develop and implement commercial plans for key accounts, identifying gaps, opportunities, and strategies to improve channel performance, while ensuring alignment with BAT’s strategic objectives.
- Lead negotiations and development of Trading Terms agreements within key accounts to optimize BAT Fiji’s market position, including monitoring compliance to improve return on investment.
- Draft and ensure approval of account contracts through legal and financial review processes.
- Take ownership of accurate channel volume forecasting by maintaining monthly Key Account Plans.
- Lead and review trade spend and investments to ensure efficiency, compliance, and maximized value.
- Analyze account performance data to find opportunities, trends, and actionable insights, and regularly review strategy and activity implementation to ensure performance delivery.
- Own the development and implementation of customer workshops and business reviews to drive collaborative planning and strategic alignment with key account partners.
- Ensure effective end-to-end management of Order to Cash processes, including cash, stock, and debtor management, while engaging internal stakeholders to drive alignment and foster a positive, growth-oriented culture.
- Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the team.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in FMCG, with a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration and key account management.
- Proven ability to manage and grow key accounts, consistently achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.
- Experience in customer management, building and demonstrating relationships with internal stakeholders, business partners, and customers.
- Demonstrated strengths in time management, project planning, and negotiating/implementing trading terms and contractual agreements.
