Retail Designer – Travel Retail Americas
Minor Hotels Europe and AmericasRetail Designer enhancing luxury brand displays for Travel Retail Americas. Involves project management, collaboration with HQ, and implementing visual merchandising strategies.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle permanent project by adapting Brand Corporate designs to Travel Retail needs from initial brief to final installation.
- Regularly follow up projects with the HQ Brands Retail Permanent Image team (special requests and adaptations) and retailers.
- Handle technical challenges (internally with the HQ team and externally with the supplier) and implementation logistics (deliveries, orders).
- Follow up budget.
- Follow up the execution of projects and ensure high quality installation.
- Handle Maintenance of existing points of sales.
- Homologate new suppliers.
- Supporting the execution of visual merchandising strategy in the point of sales.
- Develop planograms & visual calendar, adapt brand guidelines and working closely with the Field Supervisor.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of working experience including retail projects / project management preferably for the luxury and beauty industry.
- Project management / Negotiation skills and related software knowledge (Excel, PPT) are a plus.
- Aesthetic sensibility and related design software knowledge (Autocad, Adobe Creative suite Sketchup).
- Degree in Architecture or Industrial Design are required.
- Proficient in English & Spanish.
