About the role

  • Work with clients to understand requirements, solutioning, system configuration and documentation
  • Act as a trusted advisor providing expert functional and solution guidance
  • Gather business requirements, perform fit gap analysis, document high quality functional specifications
  • Create and validate As Is and To Be process maps to support design and alignment with future state solutions
  • Perform system configuration and execute unit testing to ensure solution accuracy
  • Document configuration settings, functional specifications, test scripts, and supporting artefacts
  • Execute test cases and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Lead a functional workstream, ensuring delivery quality, issue resolution, and alignment with project timelines
  • Provide input to project management on planning, risks, dependencies, and status updates
  • Contribute to capability development within the functional service line, including knowledge sharing and improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 15+ years of project experience
  • 5 full end to end implementation cycles
  • Extensive experience working with SAP
  • Deep functional knowledge of SAP MM using MRP
  • Experience with SAP SD, IBP and/or EWM a plus
  • Experience in functional lead and solution architect roles
  • Solid understanding of project methodologies and delivery phases
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to independently build and manage business stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in FMCP, Wholesale Distribution, Retail, Energy and/or Government
