SAP Solution Architect

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with clients to understand requirements, solutioning, system configuration and documentation
- Act as a trusted advisor providing expert functional and solution guidance
- Gather business requirements, perform fit gap analysis, document high quality functional specifications
- Create and validate As Is and To Be process maps to support design and alignment with future state solutions
- Perform system configuration and execute unit testing to ensure solution accuracy
- Document configuration settings, functional specifications, test scripts, and supporting artefacts
- Execute test cases and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Lead a functional workstream, ensuring delivery quality, issue resolution, and alignment with project timelines
- Provide input to project management on planning, risks, dependencies, and status updates
- Contribute to capability development within the functional service line, including knowledge sharing and improvement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of project experience
- 5 full end to end implementation cycles
- Extensive experience working with SAP
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP MM using MRP
- Experience with SAP SD, IBP and/or EWM a plus
- Experience in functional lead and solution architect roles
- Solid understanding of project methodologies and delivery phases
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to independently build and manage business stakeholder relationships
- Experience in FMCP, Wholesale Distribution, Retail, Energy and/or Government
