About the role
- Participate in developing, maintaining, and improving infrastructure using Kubernetes
- Manage and optimize GKE clusters
- Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and services
- Write scripts and automation tools (Python or similar)
- Help implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Contribute to system reliability, performance, and security improvements
- Troubleshoot issues in staging and production environments
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance delivery processes
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Practical experience with Kubernetes
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration
- Scripting skills, preferably in Python
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools
- Experience with Docker and containerization workflows
- Basic experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Understanding of networking basics, security principles, and system architecture
- Experience with monitoring tools
