About the role

  • Support sustainability initiatives in energy, waste, water, and carbon reduction.
  • Track and analyze sustainability metrics to drive measurable improvements.
  • Contribute to ESG reporting and corporate sustainability commitments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to integrate sustainability and safety into new processes and projects.
  • Lead and improve safety programs aligned with OSHA and company standards.
  • Support ISO 14001 compliance and environmental management systems.
  • Identify and mitigate hazards through risk assessments, job safety analyses, and ergonomic evaluations.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance at all levels.

Requirements

  • Preferred: CHMM, LEED Green Associate, Lean/Six Sigma, or sustainability reporting experience.
  • Experience with Scope 2 & 3 emissions, CSRD, and CO₂ reduction projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, chemical, or industrial engineering (or related field).
  • Experience with EcoVadis or similar ESG platform.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001/45001 standards.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot trends and drive improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, shop-floor-first mindset.
