Coordinate effectively with client and offshore teams
Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders in agile teams
Provide deep technical oversight for Mainframe technologies
Review and guide resolution for complex production issues
Support minor enhancements, deployment validation, configuration updates, and platform optimization activities.
Act as the onshore liaison for all support operations-communicating status, risks, and action plans proactively.

Requirements

10 plus years of IT experience in Mainframes (COBOL,CICS,DB2,JCL,VSAM)
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hosting Microfocus Cobol applications in cloud environment
Analyze and rewrite IBM Assemblers to COBOL.
Strong understanding of experience using GCP stack and Azure SQL
Good to have Mainframe Cobol to Microfocus Cobol Modernization experience
