About the role

  • Integrated into a project team, you will work on software development projects and actively participate in all stages of the application lifecycle.
  • Software design based on functional specifications or backlogs, in collaboration with functional teams
  • Participation in project rituals (daily stand-ups, progress meetings) and involvement in the different phases of the project, using V-model or Agile methodologies
  • Estimation of effort, activity tracking and participation in feedback sessions, retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Implementation of features in various languages across different types of applications (desktop/rich client, lightweight client, web…)
  • Writing unit tests for developed functions and methods
  • Integrating features into the existing software system
  • Unit and functional validation of implemented changes
  • Participation in solution deployment activities
  • Contributing to bug fixes, adjustments and functional enhancements

Requirements

  • Currently studying computer science, automation or software engineering (Bachelor’s to Master’s level equivalent)
  • Preferred knowledge in frontend development (JavaScript, Angular or React) and/or backend development (Java or Node.js)
  • Basic familiarity with another programming language (Python or C#) is an asset
  • Interest in the full software development lifecycle and Agile environments
  • Rigour, curiosity and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, active listening and team spirit
  • Proficiency in French and technical English (minimum B1 level).
