About the role

  • Act as the key liaison between insurance business teams and technical delivery teams
  • Lead end-to-end definition of features for Guidewire Core Suite or other insurance platforms
  • Analyze and document API specifications
  • Map and optimize insurance workflows
  • Work closely with architects and developers to design integration patterns
  • Validate target solution architecture designs
  • Use JIRA and Confluence to manage detailed user stories and maintain interface specifications
  • Support end-to-end test cycles by preparing detailed test scenarios

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry
  • Strong experience in core system delivery, integrations, and API-driven feature design
  • Hands-on experience working with Guidewire InsuranceSuite
  • Deep understanding of insurance lifecycle processes and their technical implementation
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into system logic, interface definitions, data mapping documents, and technical acceptance criteria
  • Practical experience analyzing API specifications and designing integration flows
  • Proficiency with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Exceptional communication skills in English; German or French is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven experience in system analysis and cross-functional collaboration
