About the role

  • Responsible for implementing and supporting SAP MM and WM functionalities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project lifecycle from gathering requirements to Go-Live support
  • Configure and customize MM and WM structures as per business needs
  • Provide training and document processes for end-users
  • Analyze and optimize procurement and inventory processes to improve efficiency

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Logistics Execution (LE)
  • At least 1 end-to-end SAP implementation, and support project experience
  • Strong knowledge in procurement processes including Stock Transport Orders (STO), Subcontracting, Individual Procurement, and Split Valuation for material pricing.
  • Experience in preparing Functional Specifications for custom developments and enhancements based on business requirements
  • Skilled in Plant-to-Plant and Cross-Company stock transfers using STO techniques
  • Expertise in configuring release procedures including characteristics, classes, indicators, strategies, and message determination schemas for POs and GRs
  • In-depth knowledge of pricing procedures, calculation schemas, condition types, schema group vendors, and account determination
  • Extensive experience in configuring and customizing WM structures: storage locations, types, sections, bins, and number ranges for TR/TO and posting changes
  • Proficient in Put-away and Stock Removal Strategies, Search Strategies, and Physical Inventory processes
  • Involved in LSMW for legacy data migration and experienced in managing master data for materials and vendors
  • Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules such as SD, PPQM and PM (Plant Maintenance)
  • Ability to support and collaborate with SD, MM, and ABAP teams for cross-module issues and enhancements.
