About the role
- Lead end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise solutions across multiple platforms and technologies
- Provide technical guidance, prepare architecture and design artifacts, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and agile teams to define and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions
- Engage with multiple squads to deliver architecture components, drive issue resolution, and support long-term product roadmaps
- Develop and maintain applications using Java 8+ (Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Batch, Hibernate) and microservices
- Build high-performance backend services with focus on scalability, maintainability, and security
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, etc.)
- Analyze, debug and resolve production issues as per Incident SLAs
- Develop deep functional knowledge of the application and act as Subject Matter Expert
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including design specifications and support guides
- Conduct root-cause analysis and propose enhancements to improve stability and performance
- Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in IT with strong background in enterprise architecture design and development
- Strong hands-on expertise with Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate
- Oracle, PostgreSQL, complex SQL query development
- AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, CDK
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools
- Strong understanding of Linux and shell scripting
- Experience with logs and monitoring using Splunk and Dynatrace
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence and collaborate
- Experience with client-side technologies (Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3) is a plus
- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect or Developer) is preferred.
