About the role

  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective)
  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles, Scrum framework and best practices
  • Coach team members on Agile methodology and self-organization
  • Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress
  • Foster a collaborative, high-trust environment within the team
  • Support the Product Owner in maintaining a healthy product backlog
  • Track and communicate team progress through metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.)
  • Act as a liaison between development teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure transparency of team progress, risks and dependencies
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination in multi-team environments
  • Encourage innovation and experimentation within the team
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve delivery effectiveness
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable outcomes
  • Identify, track and escalate risks or blockers
  • Anticipate and mitigate delivery issues

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile principles and frameworks (Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM III), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS)
  • Technical understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps or Rally
