About the role
- Serve as the project's technical lead: coordinate the team, allocate workload, and monitor objectives
- Ensure the quality and reliability of deliverables and adherence to deadlines
- Mentor and upskill a team of 6 to 8 developers
- Define and write technical specifications
- Design, develop, and deploy applications
- Write and execute unit tests
- Provide support for integration and production deployments
- Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Lead Developer (or an equivalent role involving technical leadership)
- 4 years of Java development experience (excluding internships/apprenticeships)
- Adaptability and a willingness to take on challenges: you will interact with technical teams, clients, and work across varied environments
- Strong communication skills: comfortable speaking about your background, participating in meetings (daily stand-ups), reporting issues, and contributing to project progress
- A pedagogical mindset: support client teams in implementing tools and best practices
