About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Write efficient SQL/T-SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Develop and optimize data models in Azure SQL Server and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Implement data partitioning strategies and performance tuning for large-scale data warehouses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
  • Automate data workflows and monitor pipeline performance and reliability.
  • Document technical solutions and maintain version control using tools like Git.

Requirements

  • 5+YOE working in BigData roles, ETL development process
  • Hands-on in Azure, Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipeline development.
  • Building/maintaining pipelines, mapping data flows, parameterization, triggers, integration runtimes (self-hosted & Azure), and CI/CD for ADF.
  • Advanced SQL/T‑SQL and ETL skills.
  • Complex joins, window functions, CTEs, MERGE patterns, incremental loads, SCD handling, and performance tuning (indexes, stats, query plans).
  • Experience designing lake zones (raw/bronze, curated/silver, semantic/gold), Synapse SQL pools (serverless/dedicated), PolyBase/Copy, partitioning strategies, and cost/performance tradeoffs.
  • Power BI development, Dataset design, DAX for measures, row-level security (RLS), performance analyzer usage, Advanced English level.
