About the role

  • Define and own the product vision and value stream for Scrum Teams
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog for risk and control capabilities
  • Lead functional design, story mapping, backlog refinement, and sprint planning
  • Continuously assess business needs, refine priorities, and identify risks/opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create features that meet business goals
  • Facilitate backlog decomposition with technology teams including user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
  • Support testing, review completed work, and approve releases
  • Identify and manage cross‑team/platform dependencies and delivery risks
  • Track post‑launch performance and provide insights for future investment
  • Lead agile ceremonies, foster feedback loops, and drive OKR‑based culture
  • Communicate priorities, risks, and status updates to leadership
  • Support decision‑making by clarifying trade‑offs and impacts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; strong customer‑centric mindset
  • 7–10 years’ experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or similar roles in Agile
  • Experience in technology risk and control domains; understanding of RCSA and control frameworks
  • Strong skills in story writing, backlog management, and Scrum ceremonies
  • Proven ability to deliver products on time and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Proficiency with Agile toolsets (Atlassian, MS Teams, etc.)
  • Experience with agile testing practices (TDD/BDD) is a plus
  • Advanced Product Owner certifications preferred
  • Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics (hands‑on experience preferred but not required)
