About the role
- Provide technical expertise: You deliver deep technical knowledge of semiconductor products and solutions, supporting both internal teams and customers and acting as a reliable technical point of contact.
- Develop tailored solutions: You design bespoke semiconductor solutions that are precisely aligned with customers’ technical requirements, challenges and business objectives.
- Technically support customers: You hold discussions with customers, analyze their needs and convert them into concrete, actionable solution concepts.
- Make technologies tangible: You present products, conduct technical demos and proofs of concept to demonstrate the value and performance of the solutions.
- Work closely and share knowledge: You collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering and Product Development, monitor market and technology trends, and prepare technical documentation and proposals to support the entire sales process.
Requirements
- Solid technical competence: You possess deep expertise in semiconductor technologies, industry standards and an analytical understanding of complex technical interrelationships.
- Educational background: A degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field forms the basis for this role.
- Experience in pre-sales and solution design: You have proven experience in pre-sales roles and can develop, evaluate and tailor sophisticated semiconductor solutions to specific customer requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills: You are able to present technical content clearly, understandably and appropriately for both technical audiences and non-technical stakeholders—both in writing and orally.
- Customer focus & teamwork: You work in a structured, solution-oriented way and are adept at analyzing customer requirements and developing suitable solution strategies.
- Collaborative mindset: You bring a strong collaborative approach to working with Sales, Engineering and Product teams.
- Structured working & industry understanding: You are well organized, possess fluent German and English skills (spoken and written), ideally have project management experience, actively follow market and technology trends, and are willing to travel within Germany when required to support customers.
