About the role

  • You analyze software requirements, design and implement complex software modules, perform tests, and document the results.
  • Your focus is on developing and executing software tests, including test automation.
  • You integrate and verify software components and support system acceptance and qualification.
  • You assist in task planning, including estimating development effort within your area of responsibility.
  • You promote knowledge sharing within the team and work on shared project tasks.

Requirements

  • Degree in Software Engineering, (Business) Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable IT-related qualification.
  • Several years of solid professional experience in software engineering, particularly in testing and integration.
  • Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: C++, C, Python, Java.
  • Business-fluent German and good English skills.
  • Willingness to travel for project-related assignments and to undergo a security screening under LuftSiG §7, including obtaining a Ü2 security clearance and holding citizenship of a NATO member state.
