About the role

  • Conduct end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract drafting, and operational purchasing support.
  • Conduct market analyses, evaluate spend, and identify sourcing opportunities within assigned commodity groups.
  • Plan and manage RFx processes (RFQ, RFP, RFI) including document preparation, consolidation of supplier responses, and support during evaluation.
  • Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and basic quality or delivery metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Prepare procurement data, track savings, create reports or dashboards, and maintain supplier and contract data in procurement systems.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, IT, internal business units).
  • Structured, detail-oriented working style with the ability to work independently and apply problem-solving approaches.
  • Experience working with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP/MM, Ariba, Coupa) and managing digital documentation and workflow processes.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable personality with a proactive approach to optimizing procurement processes.
