About the role
- You create concepts and detailed designs, develop installation for electrical systems and components, define electrical routings while working in close collaboration with an engaged and supportive team.
- You analyze the requirements, capabilities and performance of new and existing products to deliver innovative solutions for the aerospace sector.
- You work together with the customer and communicate with them regarding technical decisions and work progress and act as a coach for junior engineers to support team development and create a culture of learning and collaboration.
- You create detailed multi-view drawings, including diagrams, harnesses, routing, and electrical installations to turn visionary concepts into practical applications for next-generation aerospace projects.
- You define the definition of the interfaces for electrical systems and assemblies.
Requirements
- Successfully completed bachelor’s or master's degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Several years of work experience in the aerospace industry with focus on wiring diagrams or harness design combined with extensive knowledge of aerospace processes, requirements, methods and a dedication to contributing to team success through your expertise.
- Good knowledge of electrical CAD (Catia V5/SEE Electrical/Mentor, Capital Logic), experience with 3DX is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement.
- Willingness to undergo a security screening in accordance with §7 of the German Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG), including obtaining a level Ü2 security clearance.
- Fluent in German and/or English, both written and spoken with the ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented and inclusive setting.
