About the role

  • You develop, together with the technical specialist department and Key Account Management, a sales strategy to optimally position our solutions with a premium automotive OEM in Baden-Württemberg.
  • You approach our client to generate new opportunities and support them through to successful contract signing.
  • You take on cross-functional operational and strategic planning and management of projects in the acquisition phase of varying sizes, possibly including our Global Engineering Centers.
  • You act as a Transformation Leader — planning, persuading, transforming and optimizing large-scale projects and developing global project solutions (GEC – Global Engineering Center – Best Cost – Best Quality).
  • You are responsible for preparing, planning and conducting project review meetings as well as presenting and reporting up to C-level both to the client and within the Capgemini Group.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree, ideally in engineering, computer science (including business informatics) or business administration, preferably with a focus on project management or a comparable field.
  • Experience in technical sales management and a solid understanding of the automotive business as well as shoring models.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a solid understanding of the sales process — from lead generation through conversion into sales opportunities to closing the deal.
  • Confident performance in an international environment and experience building complex transnational project organizations.
  • Good German and very good English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
