About the role

  • Work on the development and maintenance of data solutions using the Databricks platform.
  • Implement and maintain the Medallion Architecture, organizing data into Bronze, Silver and Gold layers, ensuring quality, traceability and governance.
  • Build and evolve Data Products, from ingestion through to availability for analytical and business consumption.
  • Work within the Data Mesh concept, promoting responsible decentralization, data domain ownership and cross-team collaboration.
  • Develop efficient, scalable and high-performance data pipelines.
  • Perform data transformations, validations and modeling for various analytical use cases.
  • Support business and analytics teams in consuming data, ensuring the reliability and clarity of information.
  • Document solutions, pipelines and data products clearly and in a standardized manner.
  • Identify continuous improvements in performance, cost and data quality.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks.
  • Solid knowledge of the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver and Gold layers).
  • Experience in building Data Products.
  • Knowledge of Data Mesh and its principles (domains, ownership and federated governance).
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and transformation.
  • Experience with PySpark for distributed data processing.
