About the role
- Define, implement and evolve Data Governance processes, policies, roles and responsibilities aligned with DMBOK (DAMA)
- Work on Data Quality, Security and Access, Metadata and MDM (Master Data Management) initiatives
- Design and maintain Data and Analytics Environment architectures, including data ingestion and integration strategies
- Define naming standards, cataloging, lineage and metadata practices on data platforms
- Create and monitor KPIs and indicators for data quality, security and maturity
- Lead and support PoCs for Governance, Data Quality, Metadata and MDM tools
- Gather requirements from business areas and stakeholders
- Support BI self-service initiatives and modernization of analytics environments
- Guide and mentor technical teams, promoting best practices in architecture, integration and data governance
- Contribute to defining reference architectures, ensuring projects adhere to established standards
Requirements
- Solid experience in Data Governance, Data Architecture and Business Intelligence
- Strong knowledge of data modeling
- Experience with Data Quality, Metadata, MDM and Information Security applied to data
- Work experience in medium to large enterprise analytics environments
- Experience with cloud data platforms, especially Fabric, Purview
- Knowledge of integration and data ingestion strategies
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Familiarity with SQL and Python
- Ability to act consultatively with business areas
