About the role

  • Build and enhance Terraform modules to standardize analytical environments.
  • Provision and automate Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, secret scopes, policies, and networking using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering squads to create environments tailored to pipelines and workloads.
  • Integrate analytical infrastructure with Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
  • Ensure governance: RBAC, Azure Key Vault, tagging, and corporate standards.
  • Operate in high-criticality environments with fast-paced deliveries and platform compliance.
  • Document standards, best practices, and templates for the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Terraform in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience provisioning Azure Databricks via IaC (clusters, jobs, repos, secret scopes, workspace).
  • Proficiency in Azure (Resource Groups, Networking, Key Vault, Storage, Azure Active Directory).
  • Git (branching strategy, version control).
  • Experience with automation and data platform standards.
  • Desired: Azure DevOps (YAML Pipelines, Repos).
  • Knowledge of data architecture on Azure (Delta Lake, Data Lake, ETL).
  • Experience with data-oriented Landing Zones.
  • Familiarity with analytical workloads and engineering teams.
  • Telecom experience (e.g., Vivo) is a plus.
