About the role
- Reviewing payroll processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency, and recommending improvements.
- Providing expert support to managers through insights, reporting, and contribution to operational and strategic decision‑making.
- Independently addressing and resolving complex payroll issues, leading implementations, optimizing end‑to‑end processes, driving payroll improvements, and supporting payroll transitions.
- Supporting the team leader in delivering substantive training and guidance to less experienced team members.
- Preparing reports and analyses as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in polish payroll operations, including preparing and submitting settlements for organizations of 500+ employees while ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in leading payroll implementations, optimizing end‑to‑end processes, driving payroll improvements, and supporting payroll transitions.
- Several years of professional experience in payroll or HR operations, demonstrating strong expertise and consistent, high‑quality performance.
- Strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage responsibilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis tools) and experience working with HR systems such as SAP HR, TETA, or similar.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Background in project or team management is not required but will be considered a strong advantage.
