About the role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines on Google Cloud
- Work with large datasets, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance across the full data lifecycle
- Collaborate with architects, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to deliver data products
- Build and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) on Google Cloud
- Develop data lakes and warehouses using BigQuery and cloud-native services
- Ensure data quality, security, and performance
- Automate deployments using CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices
Requirements
- Strong SQL and programming skills (Python, Scala)
- Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Airflow
- Understanding of data modeling and distributed systems
- Google Cloud Data Engineer certification (preferred)
