About the role

  • Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications for: data processing, transformation and data quality management; handling geospatial or satellite data; extraction, normalization and analysis of data from various sources.
  • Design and improve Python APIs (FastAPI) for exposing or consuming data.
  • Contribute to optimizing data pipelines (batch, real-time, data ingestion).
  • Collaborate with architects, data analysts and business experts.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation and DevOps best practices.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, ETL processes and data pipelines; comfortable with Docker and version control tools.
  • Knowledge of front-end web development with TypeScript (Vue.js, React.js) is desirable but not required.
  • Familiarity with C++ is desirable but not required.
  • Good knowledge of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to work independently.
