About the role

  • Lead SAP PS and CPM solution design, configuration, and deployment.
  • Analyze business requirements related to project planning, budgeting, cost control, resource management, and commercial processes.
  • Configure core SAP PS components: Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) Networks & Activities Cost Planning & Budgeting Settlements Milestones, Progress Analysis, Results Analysis
  • Design and configure SAP CPM functions including: Project Workspace & Project Control Commercial Planning Risk & Issue Management Financial planning and profitability management
  • Develop functional specs for WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Support full project lifecycle activities—blueprinting, build, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (FI/CO, MM, SD, HR, PM) for integrated solutions.
  • Provide L2/L3 production support and ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Prepare documentation: configuration guides, process flows, training materials.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP PS/CPM capability.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Project Systems and/or Commercial Project Management.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle: planning, execution, controlling, billing, and financial closure.
  • Deep knowledge in: WBS, Networks, Activities Costing, Budgeting, Forecasting RA (Results Analysis) & Settlements Project Billing (Fixed Price, Time & Material)
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA PS/CPM preferred.
  • Integration expertise with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM.
  • Proven capability to work in onshore/offshore delivery models.
  • Ability to create functional specifications and collaborate effectively with ABAP teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • SAP Certification in PS or CPM preferred.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe).
  • Prior consulting experience with global clients.
  • Exposure to EPPM, PPM, or SAP Analytics Cloud for project reporting (optional).
