About the role
- Champion collaboration and cultivate a close partnership with business and the development team to help craft and implement solutions
- Work in a Squad focused on enabling our Wealth Management business in Fidelity through Flexible Scalable platforms and report to a Chapter Leader
- Ensuring the technology team is building the right software solutions and components to improve customer experience
- Facilitating flow of requirements from the business to the technology team
- Reducing requirements and design risk and resulting costs associated with rework and redesign
- Able to digest and break down stories working closely with the team's tech lead
Requirements
- 8 years professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions
- Proven experience researching, optimizing, developing and authoring solution requirements, user stories and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
- Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general
- Strong understanding and experience with complex relational database schemas and SQL management tools
- Proven experience working with REST, SOAP, JSON and APIs
- Proven experience with Agile development methodologies
- Deep knowledge of scrum tools, Jira experience desirable
- Good knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development (Gherkin/Cucumber)
- Test Data Generation using tools like Hexawise
- Release coordination
- Be able to articulate complex system interactions through diagrams and crisp documentation to a wide spectrum of audiences
- Ability to understand the technical aspects of the software including understanding of code to be able to understand the business logic, understand technical architecture
- Produce artifacts business flow diagrams
- Have good understanding of solution architecture and partner with Architects, Business Analysts and tech leads
- Build OpenAPI contracts
- Have end to end knowledge of system interactions and be able to articulate well to different audiences (both technical and non-technical)
- Be the point of contact and Subject matter Expert in the products supported by the squad in addition to having broader understanding of the product area
- Prod incidents analysis, Splunk queries, build dashboards/alerts
- Any experience with AIML products (e.g., supervised learning models, recommendation systems, reinforcement learning) is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technology discipline
