About the role

  • Must have deep understanding of insurance processes across: Policy lifecycle / Claims management / Billing operations
  • Must be proficient in eliciting functional requirements from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Able to translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation
  • Must be capable of drawing process flows and providing clear descriptions for all stakeholders
  • Must effectively communicate with stakeholders and present data insights
  • Able to build and deliver engaging presentations tailored to business and technical audiences
  • Understanding of integration mechanisms and data transformation processes (good to have)
  • Awareness of testing standards and ability to support or conduct testing activities (nice to have)
  • Understanding of underwriting processes and their impact on policy and risk management (nice to have)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry (P&C, life, health, or reinsurance)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, policy management, claims, and underwriting processes
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence for backlog management and documentation
  • Ability to read and understand API documentation (Postman) and work with developers on integrations
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German or French - good to have)
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience working in global, cross-functional teams.
